I’m done with this world and it’s relentless hypocrisy

Ruled by the ignoramus, infinite idiocy.

 

Too tired I am of walking by planks of wood

Which have eyes and ears, heads enveloped in hoods.

 

Mass manufactured faith, blindly consumed.

Blasphemy, heresy, wrongfully assumed.

 

Commute and pollute, abide and infest

Our beautiful world is bleeding to death.

 

The ground now soaked with innocent blood

A war led by a snake with a face that they trust.

 

I’m tired of this world and its crumbling grace.

And I know one day…..

 

I will leave this place.

For the title I see something like "Dying Society" or "Failing Society" or....something...Lol. Don't know if I helped. My mind has been shut off from creativity lately so I doubt those suggestions helped much.

The poem described perfectly how I feel about the world, especially these past two years. I really like the structure of the last stanza+1 thing at the end. The whole poem, I think because these thoughts and feelings of society are common, has a cliche feel to it. I like that a lot (I'm a cliche-lover.)
