"demonic" music

i've been called a "devil worshipper" or "unfaithful to god" for listening to metal and rock. i'm a christian, i believe in god. i do not believe in what these people say though.

Close minded religious bigots

Preaching the words of a false god.

Philosophy flawed with unfathomable magnitude.

Assuming the soulful screams of an artist are demonic.

So….

Tell me this….

If a man has the talent to scream like a wounded ox,

He is immediately possessed?

He is immediately an enemy of the norm?

Then I am possessed

If a man can strum a guitar fast

He is an infidel?

Defiler of god?

Then I am an infidel.

I am an enemy.

I listen to this “demonic” music

That has nothing to do with the man in the red fur with the goat legs.

That speaks volumes more than the brainless s**t called pop.

I definitely agree with you. Some metal music is so much more real than the stereotypical "christian" music. To say that an entire genre of music is demonic just because it's intense is blasphemy and overly religious. There's even some solid "Christian" metal music. I mean, look at For Today. Those guys follow God on a much deeper level than most Americans yet they scream their hearts out.

exactly man. i mean betraying the martyrs are very christian BUT the singer sounds like a legit monster, i also find it funny that these people don't slam rap when really...that has more masonic and satanic influences in its music subliminally. its like they fear what they do not understand. thanks for the awesome review man. glad we understand each other on the subject.

I've never heard of Betraying the Martyrs. I'll check them out. A lot of American Christians are just scared of anything different, and metal is certainly different to them. Someday they'll see that it isn't wicked. No problem, thanks for posting.
