i just love the way poetry flows from your pshyche, the way you use words is commendable...20 in my eyes is young indeed, no matter how you feel, it's a special time
thank you sheema. is it? i know a lot of people tell me its a time of change. maybe that's special?

i have a 20-something year old friend who told me she believes life is an open book test. we already have all the answers inside of us. we only have to listen. so don't sweat the exam. that's assuming she's right. me? i'm over 60 and i'm coming to the conclusion that true wisdom is discovering how little we can be certain of. so, if i'm right you don't have to sweat the answers either. just relax and enjoy life. growing up happens whether we're ready for it or not.

hmm when was your birthday? I only ask because I also wrote a poem bout my upcoming birthday... lol It's called Bells if ya wanna read it. Yours is much more questioning than mine though.
I like "I can't sit the exam without the paper"
What knowledge are you talking about? What do you want to know of life? Compared to us, the world is very old, but compared to the universe, earth is so young...

ah a lot of things. i'm but act 12, experienced not nearly enough as i should. not saying i'm sheltered or anything but everyone around me acts a hell of a lot older than i do, also i look mad young for my age. most people think i'm 16 or something and because i'm told that a lot i kinda get into that mind state aswell. there's more but i don't want to bore you with an essay. thanks for the review!

HOLY CRAP!!!!!20!!!! You can't have teenaged sex anymore. I'd make a crack about having sex with teenagers but that's sure to piss somebody off so I'll resist the temptation. Good poem man.

This is a wonderful, and quite vulnerable piece...I love that vulnerability in it.
So many thoughts, and quotes, and ponderings that this piece brings up in me!
"Can’t recognize a mistake because I didn’t even know it was there."
This line makes me think of what I often tell my kids,
"It's not what I don't know that scares me, it's what I don't know that I don't know."
Life is like a school, we just all hope we learn what we are supposed to, master it hopefully and when the big test comes we pass. You are not alone in your feelings...some might not admit it...but, I think we all often wonder what it is all about. Love your work.
i have been away from this place for.....lord knows, something like 3-4 years? so i guess all the things i have experienced in that time have to come out somehow you know? so here we are. you're readi.. more..
