well its another rant people. HOORAY! but seriously...what has happened to music these days? especially pop.

Its beat was so infectious

Its lyrics indeed gracious

Ah that was old school

But….

What happened to music?

This new s**t just blew it.

It’s the same damn club anthem

With the same lyrics about them.

A thumping base gets boring

When its played till 4 in the morning

Just *UNCE UNCE UNCE*

How is that creative?

I’m still in love with the 90s

Even though romeo was the 00s

But that year was depressing

And 2012 has got me stressing.

Once again I couldnt agree with you more. There are very few modern songs which I listen to because no one cares about the lyrics anymore, its all about the beat. When I listen to a song I like to relate to the lyrics and feel something other than a headache. Anyways, awesome poem with lots of truth to it and humor.

lol I loved this!!! I totally agree, modern music sucks: Justin Bieber, One Direction, Katy Perry, Carly Rae Jepsen, Lady Gaga, Nicky Minaj---- none of them have real talent, all of their voices are autotuned! I love 80s music and older rock bands, like The Police. This poem speaks so much truth about how much music has declined over the years, awesome job! :]
