You made me go through this alone

Maybe you could of came with me

you weren’t scared for me.

i had to suffer independently.

You claimed you raised me right

BUT

Never taught me wrong from right

I learned all that overnight

And now the phoenix’s taking flight.

Like the sun rise

It’s a new beginning

These wounds are healing

What’s done is done….

There’s nothing here

That’s worth regretting

So thank you

For teaching

that I was

No weakling

Ooooooooh d@@@@@m bro! Now this I can relate to! My fav line is when you say "and now the phoenixes taking flight" I love it because when I move out ill be driving a trans am with a phoenix decal on the hood, and that's not the only reason I relate to this though. amazing..... name...... hmm...... loner child? No..... uh..... ill think of something and message you bro! But great poem.

I really like this. I flows so well and comes through with strength. Your references to "raised me right" and "never taught me" lead me to believe it is be a parent/ child issue. If that is so (or not) it has a lot of meaning and is so well done. As for title, I am leaning toward your word "Neglection" or possibly "Raised Me Right" something like that....you'll know. Love your writing.
