An untold story

An untold story

A Poem by nigrum homonculus
"

hope this opens your eyes to some of the realities of war a bit....again inspired by my friend deltacowolf.

"

What do you call a man

When he takes a life of another

Even though the cause was just

Even though his own was in danger.

A hero?

A human?

What do you call man

Who suffers from the trauma

Needing the therapy

To wash away these memories

Weak?

Insane?

What do you tell a man

When he feels that he’s marked

Tainted by the deepest guilt

Of sending another to unknown dimensions

Don’t worry

Be happy?

Honour this man.

Honour his sacrifice

Mentally and physically.

For this is overlooked by society.

This is so true?

Should he be called a murderer? A vigilante?
Or, should we consider his particular circumstance and simply call him...human.
Nice work man!

My pleasure...
Simply constructed with a powerful voice behind it. I love the back and forth contemplation. Reminds me of someone close to me. I enjoyed this alot.
