a thief's regretA Poem by nigrum homonculusa collab done with my friend xxrawr_friendxx pretty awesome poet. check her outI wonder how I got here...isolated by my insecurities. Drifting through this barren wasteland, pondering a life I
once had. A gun in one hand a man’s balls in the other, fearless i
was. Taking what caught my eye, giving what was deserved. Hoarding one man’s treasure, squandering like it’s my trash. A black hole of an addiction, I constantly try to fill. Possessed by possessions, materials made me mercurial. Now I survive minute by minute with nothing to love, and
nothing to love me. A consequence of greed, pulled everything in to push it all away. Surrendering to the madness and accepting the decisions. on my knees, I yield! I yield!. my mouth now tasting this cold
barrel. Silently praying, hoping, I will be forgiven Forgiven for the lives I've crushed and the lies I've told or do i really deserve that luxury when i have robbed people
of theirs. Alone I stay, ungrateful. Drying up until nothing is left of
my selfish body. © 2012 nigrum homonculus |
