Cinema etiquette

inspired heavily off a mastodon song. i'm going to watch Dark knight rises tonight AWWWH YEAH and this is how i would exactly feel if someone was doing any of these things.

Don’t try to figure the plot

We’re here to watch it unfold

investigate and I’ll rip your tongue out.

 

Don’t chew your damn popcorn loud

It will disturb the imagination.

disobey and I will break your jaw.

Don’t bring your baby in here.

It’s a 15. leave the thing outside.

If its in here. I’ll find it and fight it.

 

Don’t even think about making out

Its distracting and in some cases disgusting.

Do it and I’ll bite you both and give you a disease.

 

So just abide to these rules

If you do then we’ll have no problem.

If you don’t.

I’ll rip your wife in f*****g half.

Yeah, I agree with Michael G. When I came on here and saw this poem it made me feel even more depressed than I was before, because I had just watched coverage about the shooting on tv. What happened is really tragic, and shocking, so this poem did come at a bad time.

Just a heads up:

This could be and probably is a good fun thought. But, given the timing, it probably isn't being received well today. (Shooting at the movie in Aurora, Colorado. A man is in custody after a shooting at a showing of "The Dark Knight Rises" left 12 people dead and dozens injured.)

Who knows. I haven't heard a reason yet. College grad student went crazy with shooting and tear gas.
