Sandman

Sandman

A Poem by horror master
"

A medieval ages interpretation of the legendary sandman

"
I lay myself down to sleep, I pray when I wake up I'll have my soul for keeps,
Dreams of chaos, dreams of anarchy
A wicked man destined on destroying me
I know what he wants, I know what he craves
He wants to sprinkle handfuls of dust and rip my eyes out of my brains
Throw them in a sack and fly up to the room only to come back
To feed his children who have crooked beaks
With jagged teeth
As they eat my flesh They'll laugh at me
Now I know I've been very naughty
He's the sandman and goddamn he's a hideous man
He took my eyes and left me to wander the earth as nothing but a blind man
