Autumn
A Poem by Phoenix
A simple descriptive poem about my love of the season Fall.
Green leaves catch fire and explode into beautiful flames of red and orange, yellow tinging the edges. The air gets colder, brisk and refreshing, carrying the scent of pumpkins and cinnamon. Children excitedly play in the crisp grass, tossing the fire leaves into the cool air. The sky is a pale baby blue, with clouds painted across in slashes. The shadows grow longer as the sun sets faster, snickering smiles laced within them.Autumn is here.

When I write my "descriptive poems", I try to make it sound so descriptive enough that you can imagine being there!! If I succeeded in doing so, please comment <3
