Hey Mr. Spaceman

Hey Mr. Spaceman

A Poem by pheasant

Hey Mister Spaceman
Why have you passed our way?
Do you wish to meet us?
And have you chance to stay?

Are we neighbors in this space man?
Do you follow the Golden Rule?
Will you share your hidden place and
Reveal a now olden school?

Do you know of your Creator?
Have you seen our planet's pain?
Do you carry a cool translator?
Will you help us make some gains?

Can you travel to the future?
Would you tell us of our past?
Will you act as our new tutor
In this universe so vast?

Can you take us for a ride now?

A tour across the great unknown?
Is it time to shed our pride vow?
Can we visit your sacred home?

This is a fun poem yet serious too - it reminds me of a song by David Bowie -Star Man it is I think .. "There's a star man waiting in the sky he'd like to come and see us but he thinks he'll blow our minds"
Maybe this spaceman feels the same.
Would be good to meet a spaceman who could help this world.
I like this one very much ..

There probably is life on other planet, the universe is so big. I wonder how they would view our world. Very poetic, like a song.

A very entertaining poem. I believe they is more life then Earth. The universe is too much and with so many opportunity for life. I hope the other being are more wiser and kinder then here on Earth. A outstanding poem. A lot of good questions in your poem. Thank you.

I think this is really cool. It totally made me think of Mr. Blue Sky by ELO, but I like because it's quirky and not as depressing as alot of the poems out there.

I heard a joke the other day, that said the proof intelligent life is out there is the fact they haven't contacted us, because they see how we are so destructive to our planet, and we pee in our own water supply. I wouldn't want to contact us either. lol.

Nice Write!
