These Dreams

These Dreams

A Poem by pheasant

Then and now
We lift our brow
When touching trickling bursts
As poetic lines one thirsts
Come to bring on firsts

Sculpted and resulted
Open and outspoken
No jokin'... these tokens
Beat rhythms of the heart
...These dreams do spark the art...

Lovely. Amazingly calming and soothing. It's not boring, which I find happens alot when writers go for this kind of mood. I like it alot. Nicely done!

This is like a drop of water in a calm lake. A gentle ripple in my mind.

What a gorgeous photograph for the poem .. beautiful shade of blue.
My poetic thirst is quenched for now I have no words.. your's are drinking it in .. Seems so many poems you read inspire you. Wonderful that other's words can do this for you and others. Two beautiful verses.. Yes, dreams do spark the art..
