Higher Clue

Higher Clue

A Poem by pheasant

a beauteous write
in this darkness night
before our dawn

may bring to light
our place and plight
...return us 'fore we're gone

i do now believe
we shall retrieve
our senses and our grace

and get back to
a higher clue
where humans need not race

This is a wonderful poem of awareness. We must get a 'higher clue' or pay the consequences. "where humans need not race" reminds me of not only the human 'rat race' but of racists people... which there are many sad to say.
The poem seems to warn us and tells us how we might be able to rectify the situation.
So glad my poem inspired this wonderful poem.

Love it! Simple, well written and true. Totally dig the idealistic sentiment, mirrors how I feel.

A wonderful poem for humanity...I think we would be better off if we stopped racing and living life so fast we forget to enjoy it, and started living sustainably, learn from those among us who have learned to live peacefully. There is hope.

The keys to true happiness are found in the simplest pleasures of life, we just tend to get lost in this fast paced world of technology.

If all humans would realize everyone has their turn, everyone has there place, hopefully, that is where their dreams take them. Life does not forget anyone in this grand web of life we all belong to creation!
