I Hurt From HerA Poem by Jordan "Paulo Vordon"My hurting from my last relationship
And thee hath pulled me into hell,
Weak-legged; a scrag. I misconstrued
My trust for Her, and should have known to tell
That her seal was of the beast. True
Had I fallen for Her, but like father and mother
She hath smothered what we two had, too soon.
At times I feel as if we dispise one another,
But e’ery day I glance at Her with sorrow pulling me under.
I’ve found that my heart withers away in the storm
Of redemption. A maelstrom of emotions
Longing for, more and more; a way out of this shore.
God, what have become I? A guardian o’er oceans
Of love, of life, and of change? Lusting for others
And Her lust for other’s torments my soul. When
Jealousy reigns o’er mine, and Hers. Melancholy colours
Shine through mine eyes, when she weeps for thee, or another.
