Damned With A Kiss

Damned With A Kiss

A Poem by Jordan "Paulo Vordon"
"

This poem was deleted, which really angered me, The last one had more to it at the end, alot better than the one now, i shall continue on this, and make as good as possible. So a work in progress.

Damned With A Kiss

“You were truly thy light;

Thy light that makes me shine”.

I waited for the seasons to someday meet;

That day, our love was to be complete.

You are Autumn, and I fall for you,

I fall for you with love, and sadness….

I am Winter, and you my love, help me Spring forward,

Spring forward out from loneliness;

Taking me toward love and comfort, on this midnights’ Summer route.”

She was my ray of moonlight,

Guiding me through the forest floors

Lighting a path of new life

As I tread through haunted shores.

The night bares no other, than winter herself;

My flesh suffering the wintry chills.

Looking into the water at a reflection of myself,

Glaring back at me

Mirroring a pale-while elf…

There I lie down,

Stunned by fiery-cold snow

Baring memories of Her in an Autumn gown;

Dressed for sunset, she arose

I loved her infinitely, but hath dawned on thee;

She must not see anything for with thee, for eternity.

Then, and there I had thought

How much I had sought…

Damned with a kiss; Her kiss,
I throw my soul down
My spirit wept jaded, and nevermore the bliss.
In love I had drowned;
For though I thought I was crowned
With her love, conjured between us.
Wrong was I, choosing this Venus.

Her vanity seducted

My mind to eruption,

Jaded like a feather

Under midnight moon;

Thereto soon,

My mind withers with madness

Like broken spoon’s o’er Neptune.

Tonight to be damned;

With her kiss,

Like my children;

The lambs…..

Sad love tale...this is where I find myself to be right now.

You are Autumn, and I fall for you,

I am Winter, and you my love, help me Spring foward,
Spring foward out from loneliness;

Loved this part!! Your creativity shows. Autumn and Winter...is this anything like opposites attract?
