I just smile at them, and think

‘’If they only knew, really’’

I know, it sounds silly!

Pink protects my being

And what people are seeing

I smile to give an illusion

Happy, is the confusion

Pink is my skin

For the world I’m in

Trauma, is how it began

But, also, pink, is who I am
