My Skeleton

My Skeleton

A Poem by Jenni Bailey
"

I'm Kind, but also fragile

"

I live my life in my skeleton

My heart shows everyday

The skin is just there to protect it from getting hurt

I’m not wearing my skeleton for it to just break

Be careful, or I will just put my skin back on…

I always think of my skeleton. How my body moves. How it grows. Good work 👍

Such clever wording yet has me reaching for a tissue (maybe the time of night or the dark clouds hiding the stars from view?) You truly know how to write, dear Janni - 'have a way of thinking and creating unlike other folk sometimes, often.
