Desmond Sinclair - Simple - 2/10/27A Chapter by Anthony
[Speaking with a light Russian accent and slurring his words together, while taking very quiet breaths in contrast to the stomping and muffled shouting in the background. The speaker is obviously a man.]
A man loses his home. Faced with this loss, what does he do? Does he try to establish a new life, and take it as a welcome change? No, of course not. Despite his warning and several weeks to evacuate his belongings, he overreacted and considered it an irreplacable loss. But it doesn't add up. A home is a home, little more than an arrangement of wood and stone. He knew about this, and had every opportunity to prepare. So long as he consciously acknowledged these facts, there would be no reason for him to commit suicide. He was in good health, and had quite a fortune to his name. For him to have killed himself, there must have been an outside reason. Something's being hidden from us, I know it. During his sprint, nobody stopped him. They all just went silent and watched. It's like it was expected of them. I think this requires some research. A survey, of sorts. © 2011 Anthony |
