The Chef

The Chef

A Poem by Perry Coley
"

A poem about a chef at his wits end. When everything goes wrong and there's not enough hours in the day? That.

"
The manic depressive chef
Well, he'd had enough of it all
In his rush to get things done
He pulled the spice rack off the wall
Oh! How often it goes awry!
For those mice and men who made plans
And the tired chef just stood there crying
With thyme literally slipping through his hands

Clever write! You told a great story :) I always liked the ideas that chefs often come up with and feel that they are quite creative people. It's okay be alittle quirky when it comes to your job, no one said being normal was required :)
