Tim looks depressed: What, Why, and How

An arrhythmic poem about what I face, but with explanation of why it is and how to help.

Some may see me and think I look very angry or depressed.

Well this is why, I have the weight of the world on my shoulders most days,

and I don't mean that in some egotistical heroic stoic manly man way.

It is because I am engaging in the act of influencing and effecting people whether for good or for evil all the time.

And where my natural man screams towards evil, my new and growing heart is pulsing weakly in the other direction, towards all that is Christ.

My standards are set so high, and I fail to reach them in many ways.

So you can see that I seem so depressed, because I fail and fail every day.

Of course I have hope, and answers, and truth, but they all elude me when I'm down in the dark.

So if you see me all gloomy and depressed, please don't try to get me excited, instead just give me space and time to work it out.

Because I always do find recovery, through prayer, meditation, and blessings from God through people.

If you want to help then be soft and patient, don't force your ideal of healthcare and don't initially pull out all your opinions of happiness to counsel me.

Just share with love and God's good Word and I will come around.
