Springtime SpectreA Poem by imagwriteineAre we ignoring the small things around us?A warm breeze, Sweeping across the continents, Sprinkling vigour and glee, Soldering pipes of relations with
contentment.
Leaves swirl, birds stir, The azure sky radiating ardency. On the zenith gather opal clouds to blur, To blur and dampen clarity.
A withered man, Bony are his cheeks and frame, Leans against the lee of a stout palm, Waiting for aid that never came.
People come, people go, Channelling not indignation but
nonchalance, Towards the man in putrid glow, Who slowly dissipates into oblivion. © 2015 imagwriteineAuthor's Note
