a workers conflict

a workers conflict

A Poem by Peter H
"

i wrote this at work :)

"
a place i need to be
but i don't want to be here
480 revolutions in this hell
the queens must be satisfied
she must have her full time.

time that's what i live by
she's satisfied with that
but somehow i'm beginning to adore
this incarceration. hmph!
some sort of sick Stockholm syndrome.

the taxers are frequently here,
taking out honey , its like a cocaine to them
its  congruent to money.
i wish i could escape this prison , but i'm conflicted .
somehow i made a bond with my inmates.

can i really say i hate this place ,
i feel euphoric with our comradary
we live by 480 i love the eight
i can't truly say i hate this 1/3 of my day.

I think you captured how most people feel about work here. You often love the people more than the work and the thought of hating 1/3 of your day... great use of the stockholm syndrome - i never looked at it that way. thought provoking work peter.

thank you very much my friend :) .
You have tacked the abuses of power and described some of the corruptions very powerfully here, thanks for brining these issues to the forefront, this is very important I think, excellent, Peter.

a good way to stay away from work awhile - i do that when no one is looking i write down my thoughts and feelings of the moment of clarity in that certain time and place... well some of us work just to earn what we call a living... its a way of life... sometimes i thought what's the used of working without the love and dedication to it... we can just somehow call ourselves robot doing things in motion of what's the orders of our masters... still be able to survive and functional to society we do this... for the sake of family and ourselves... so i think we do this work depending on our reasons why we do it...i guess for you for now... its for experienced... that's what i thought when i got a job that i thought its just ok but i really didn't love doing... but i do it anyways... because i have my main reason...

great work my friend..
100~

thank you very much robert l :)
I really enjoyed reading this and can relate. When I worked retail, all I could do was consider all the million other things I'd rather be doing with my time.

i'm happy for the mutuality :)
It is really impossible to be both free and be obliged to earn for a living, more and more labor becomes akin to slavery.

thank you very much for the review my friend .
'Sick Stockhom Syndrome!' I know just how you feel. Work is just that, work. The friendships and the knowledge that you are not in that grind alone makes that clocks tick not so loud. Nice work! Angi~
