hmmmmmmm, bear with this one its an experiment .

divine being i seek to change your ways ,

it must be lonely being the only who's holy ?

i want to be your friend but i don't want to be under your rule .

i don't find these rules irrefutable 

some of them make no sense 

you attack the weak that don't believe ,

just because they have no faith ?

is that what a god is ?

i think its time you step down 

i think its time you resign your position 

your time ruling depraved you .this power

is no longer fit for you .

power corrupts but absulute power 

corrupts absolutely , your soul needs reconciling

i want to fix you , let me fix you , lets fix each other.

I have touch this topic from a friend ~ and we did had a long conversation about the matter... I always said if you had touch Power you'll hunger for more if you didn't held your ground... the thing is, this matter is been a debate over the years like history keeps repeating its mistakes... a lot of misconception, overuse & over the top rules... some of which didn't much makes sense... Some people make used of the weaknesses like lack of understanding(education perhaps), desperate need of help(like the dying in need of healing) and many more ~ religion has a great deal of inspirational wisdom and spiritual power ~ it depends in a person on how he/she used it in a good way or bad... its up to us to find our own virtue in healing the weakness within us...

something we all think about atleast once in our life. most people end up surrendering to him, or going completely against him. youve blazed a new trail and im quite taken with the idea. what i absolutely love about this, is its going to stick with me. this is something i will probably end up thinking about for quite some time, and that doesnt happen often. excellent work.

A very good write on spiritualism and how do we box God in our limited understandings and then use His name in vain for so many do use Him for power and money and influence and they take Holly books out of context and real essence of that religion. You have touched on great subjects that has been debated for ages...Excellent...:)

yes, i too like this..there is some real sense...

everyone wants to convert everyone...but what kind of people are the convertors..and are some of the rules a little out of touch?

but then we have to remember...most of the rules were written by Men...and sometimes i think they went off track a bit...

to me real spiritualism is being kind to one another.

The poet confronts his god, I like the concept. The poet has even fired the illusion of him... I really liked the last stanza, where the poet seeks a compromise with his god, saying essentially: help me, help you, help us. Very cool

I like your experiment here. Unsure of the second last line in the last stanza, but it does have a ring to it.
