An intelligent, quite defensible point of view, 20. There are many.
Truly enjoyed reading this thoughtful work.
Have found it infinitely easier, however, to love God, than trying to understand Him.
At present, human beings simply do not possess the wherewithal for such a cosmic undertaking.

true , it will take generations to understand such a being , i liked your review . thank you :)
I have pondered the meaning of your deep and thoughtful questions, too. I came to much of the same conclusion you have. I understood that the only way for God to experience and manifest his light (his love) was to create, over and over. then, to experience the reflection of this light, his love, back unto himself.... How could you experience the universe you have willed into creation (with the physical laws you've allowed to take root) if you have no body, no receptors spread out into the universe in which to do so? How could you understand who you are (a being of pure love) if you don't also create the opposite too, in which to contrast it? meaning, light is better appreciated in a room full of darkness... I like that you brought this up in a poem, Peter, because it's one of my favorite subjects to wonder about; which is basically if there is a God, why us? Why all of this?

I believe God create the planet and people with free-will. I don't know if he is watching. Chaos and craziness had left this Earth in a bad place. I like your ideas. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Can't say that I agree with it, but it's certainly another way of looking at things. A fresh viewpoint is always welcome.

That's an interesting concept. My belief is that we are companions - not necessarily teachers for God - but I still think the poem makes one consider one's own position and it is always good to be able to articulate what you believe, what you think. Very thought provoking poem. Well done.
Interesting thought. Good read and write. But what makes us so sure God is a he?

I wouldn't be so sure, the unknown doesn't need proof. it's an experience.

Art,
That is what this idea is. i think it makes for a very powerful spoken word piece already. This is by far one of my favorite pieces from you Peter. I mean seriously you capture so much thought within here and with it a feeling of getting to know you or at least your mind. i find much philosophy to this and ever more some ideas to truly consider and ponder. Most excellent Peter.
I absolutely love this, do you intend to write from this or is this the finished copy? The reason I ask is I was wanting to place it in my library. It is that good. But i want whatever is your finished version. I could place it in there for now also and change it out if you intend to write from this.
Pure art and philosophy friend.
Sincerely
Christopher
