god and omniscience

god and omniscience

A Poem by Peter H
"

i just had this one epiphany whiles walking one day

"

Omniscience this is idea of attaining all knowledge in the universe

Absolute knowledge, this is the knowledge that only god can attain.

But if god did have this knowledge then why creates us?

Even if we choose to argue inherent omniscience

It still doesn’t explain why would god create us?

In order to explain this thought, in order to keep on believing

I the writer of this piece came to a postulation

I know not if this poetry anymore

But I must write this in a form of anything before it dissipates into the abyss of my life.

What If god himself does not know all the answer’s what if?

It’s not inherent what if god created humans to be an experiment

What if he created us with this “free will” not so that he can rule us but

To  learn from us? , instead of having one basis

God thought to himself I can have seven billion notions on how to handle a situation

God created us not to follow him but to oppose him, to give him new ideas

He created us so that he himself can learn from us.

An intelligent, quite defensible point of view, 20. There are many.
Truly enjoyed reading this thoughtful work.
Have found it infinitely easier, however, to love God, than trying to understand Him.
At present, human beings simply do not possess the wherewithal for such a cosmic undertaking.

true , it will take generations to understand such a being , i liked your review . thank you :)
I have pondered the meaning of your deep and thoughtful questions, too. I came to much of the same conclusion you have. I understood that the only way for God to experience and manifest his light (his love) was to create, over and over. then, to experience the reflection of this light, his love, back unto himself.... How could you experience the universe you have willed into creation (with the physical laws you've allowed to take root) if you have no body, no receptors spread out into the universe in which to do so? How could you understand who you are (a being of pure love) if you don't also create the opposite too, in which to contrast it? meaning, light is better appreciated in a room full of darkness... I like that you brought this up in a poem, Peter, because it's one of my favorite subjects to wonder about; which is basically if there is a God, why us? Why all of this?

I believe God create the planet and people with free-will. I don't know if he is watching. Chaos and craziness had left this Earth in a bad place. I like your ideas. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Can't say that I agree with it, but it's certainly another way of looking at things. A fresh viewpoint is always welcome.

That's an interesting concept. My belief is that we are companions - not necessarily teachers for God - but I still think the poem makes one consider one's own position and it is always good to be able to articulate what you believe, what you think. Very thought provoking poem. Well done.

Art,
That is what this idea is. i think it makes for a very powerful spoken word piece already. This is by far one of my favorite pieces from you Peter. I mean seriously you capture so much thought within here and with it a feeling of getting to know you or at least your mind. i find much philosophy to this and ever more some ideas to truly consider and ponder. Most excellent Peter.
I absolutely love this, do you intend to write from this or is this the finished copy? The reason I ask is I was wanting to place it in my library. It is that good. But i want whatever is your finished version. I could place it in there for now also and change it out if you intend to write from this.
Pure art and philosophy friend.
Sincerely
Christopher

what an interesting concept...god creating us in order to learn more about himself.

He created us in his image...so to speak..so yes, he might be learning from us.

what if he isn't omniscient, omnipotent or omnipresent and is more like us than we are like him.

i find this a piece i will revisit...i like a poem that leaves me pondering.
