the you within you

i felt like simply writing a simple poem :)

deep within you 

there  is a balance that makes you  ,"you".

don't give up on finding yourself within "yourself"

scream to the anti you that "this is not you!"

eradicate the malevolent you 

that seeks to the destroy the benevolent you

stand up and fight the ,"anti yous",  for that is 

the only way to find the you within "you".

Inspiring one, Peter. Short but the lesson is there: finding oneself.

Well, I also believe in Johari's Windows: (1) I know others know, (2) I know, others don't know, (3) I don't know, others know, (4) I don't know, others don't know. Your poem, perhaps included in the 3rd or 4th windows wherein some things about yourself is unknown to you. Sometimes we need others to reveal and/or find who we are in this world.

Short and sweet and far from emotionless. I suppose the only word I can use is brave? Although I don't even see that as the right word, but hopefully you know what I'm trying to say, since my brain isn't functioning correctly this evening. You found a way to put into words what many say or wish to say, yet you do it in a poem and it's smooth on the eyes, meaningful on the mind and the heart and puts a smile on my face. Love it :)
