Winter Misery (Season Series)

Winter Misery (Season Series)

A Poem by Pester D. Finches
"

Part 3

"

3. Winter Misery

Frost

On the sill,

Chills my heart,

Chills my soul,

Breaks me down,

Till all I,

I can do,

Sit and cry.

Do I dare?

Do I dare?

Take it back?

Leave it there?

Take the plunge?

Change my mind.

What am I

Gonna do?

Should I strive

To survive?

Lets the days

Turn to nights,

While the tears

Fill my eyes.

My heart breaks

At the sight

Of your life

In his arms.

Back in here,

What to do?

Should I try?

Or give up.

I will die

Here alone,

Nothing more

Then is shown.

What is there

In this life

That should make

Me survive?
