The Unspoken Word

The Unspoken Word

A Poem by Pester D. Finches

The unspoken word

Disagreeable decree, fluctuating
Between realms of understanding
And difficulty. The Word unspoken
Festers beautifully alone.

The pointless argument commences
In the night. The word unspoken
Is whispered in the darkest circles
Out of earshot of the mourner.

Those whose ears are always open
To the tumult of the word.
For them alone it is unspoken
Thus the silent heart is broken.

Wow, you have written a beautiful arrangement of emotional complexities. Silence is all but silent much of the time. Very intriguing piece of writing. :)
