Sorrow

Sorrow

A Poem by Pester D. Finches

Sorrow

Every breath is but a pain,
I had not known the curse of love,
That now burns ardent within my breast,
Could yield such grief upon my soul
That now, though I wish it naught,
Is drowned beneath a sea of sorrow.

This touched me deeply. You have a fine talent to describe such a profound feel with so little. I feel like I could feel the sadness myself. You deliver your words so very well. Excellent writing.
