A Poem by Pester D. Finches

Dreaming

Oh, what a ghastly curse is love, unwanted,
That I, in my darkest moments, choose to mix
Memory with crude unconscious ramblings,
Ramblings that never were, nor never will be,
Save in the horror of the unconscious nights,
That I ramble on like a lunatic.

You are quite right. Our writings do quite complement each other in this aspect. The is a darkness which drags us down into these dreams of love. They take us where we do not wish to go and tangle us until we do not know up from down. They do make you feel like a lunatic, and though I had never before associated that particular word with the ramblings I do in the day and in dreams at night -- i completely agree with it.

Thank you for the review, and thank you for leading me to this rather inspiring piece :-)

Dreams do seem to be like us rambling on about things we don't dare or can't during consciousness. This poem really had me intrigued and thinking. I really like how you have this talent to simplify such complex thoughts with your words. You truly have a talent. Thank you so much for sharing this one with me. :)
