I keep your roses on my desk,

I keep your roses on my desk,

A Poem by Pester D. Finches

I keep your roses on my desk,
Though they are dead and dry,
Though sure am I some fresh ones live,
I cannot toss them by.

Aww! Such simple sweetness. I sense a depth being said in this short, simple poem. You have a wonderful way with such a small amount of vocabulary. Kudos! Well done. :)

Short a sweet but says a lot. I like it. It has great flow too. I thought the wording of the third line was kinda weird and made me stumble a bit but aside from that very good.
