Ghastly morningA Poem by Pester D. Finches
Ghastly morning
Dank is the day with sorrow surrounding you,
All of the shadows are closing in on you,
Crystals and flowers, dark as my summer skies,
How could I have forgotten, everything dies?
Gone are the days, when sunlight caress’ed you,
Rest in the earth, my dear, I’ll be joining you.
Ghastly morning
Is it the same, that I, I keep seeing you?
Same as you were, but darling I’m missing you,
Gone in the fog, you never will look at me,
Lost in your fog, do you know your killing me?
Tumble down dear, escape what is haunting you,
In your sad fog, is there someone loving you.
Ghastly morning
Never again, that I will be seeing you,
Eerie is life, how much I’m missing you.
