It’s easy

To hate me

 

Not difficult

To find a reason

 

I have many imperfections…

 

So…go ahead

Talk about it

 

Speak it out

Spread it around

 

There was a time I was of value

Sharing my worries, hopes, and desires…

 

Lending an ear for you to drone about others

Being an audience to your delight in reaming them behind closed doors

 

Little did I know

That I

Was your next victim

 

So hate me

Destroy me with your verbal sadism

It must make you feel good

 

The more hate you have

The more hate fills your heart

 

And eventually

There will be no one left to listen

I really like the lines: "The more hate you have, The more hate fills your heart." This is absolutely true. It fills you up, bottled away in your heart and just waiting to somehow control you.
