Every where I go

I wrote your name in the clouds

But the wind blew it away

I wrote your name on the beach

But the waves washed it away

I wrote your name in my mind

But my mind wandered off

I wrote your name in my heart

And there it will stay forever

 

        I see your face everywhere I go

I smile every time I see you

When I hear your laugh

No matter what mood I’m in it tends to cheer me up

When I hear your voice

I lose my breath and smile

When you say “I love you”

My heart skips a beat

 

I need you now

More than ever before

I need you to protect my heart for its fading away

I need you to love me

So that I’ll know that I’m wanted

I need you to have the key to my heart

          For I don’t want my heart stolen away from me
