CHAPTER 7: Andrew

I'm jammin' on my iPhone playing this form of Guitar Hero and I'm reaching the part where it gets real fast and I have to slam my thumbs all over the screen to get all the notes in to reach my high score. I'm hearing this loud thumping noise outside of Chris's and my room, footsteps. Probably Chris's mom or something. Then the door is burst open during the middle of the fast part. 

Dusty.

She's wearing this short grey sundress with short sleeves and black Mary Jane school shoes, pretty cute right? 

Wrong.

She's got this angry face on her like "What-did-you-do-to-my-dog". Except worse. 

"Hey, ever heard of knocking?" I retorted.

Dusty walked closer to me, her shoes tapping the wooden floor.

Tap, tap, tap.

She then throws my khaki pants at me, making me drop my phone and LOSING MY HIGH SCORE.

"What the hell?!" I cried, and bent over to grab my phone.

She dug her hands into a tiny pocket in the dress and pulled out something golden.

The locket.

S**t.

"Please explain to me why my locket was in your pants!" She screamed. 

I said nothing.

She stepped even closer to me. 

"Just because I let you in my room to catch that toad-"

"Frog." I remarked.

Smartass.

"Whatever! Doesn't mean that you can just go peeking into every f****n' nook n' cranny of the room!" 

I sighed heavily. "Look, Dust, I really didn't mean it!"

She groaned in exasperation. 

"Really?!" She yelled.

"If you didn't mean it," she continued. "then why in the hell would you have done it?! This locket was given to me, not you! ME."

Man, I really must have done something wrong.

"Why?" I replied. 

S**T. S**T S**T S**T. THAT, ANDREW, WAS THE WORST REPLY YOU COULD MAKE. ABORT! ABORT MISSION!

Dusty was about to open her mouth, but then closed it. 

"I'm done with this bullshit." She mumbled, and with a slam of the door, she left. 

"Ugggghhhhhhhh." I groaned. Mondays don't get worse than this.
