Paradox

Have you ever wanted to express something so much that all you can do is sit at your computer and stare at the blank Microsoft Word Document?

 

It is an unpleasant feeling

For sure, I think,

When a waterfall is before you

And a pen is at hand,

Yet to write down words

Would be to have confidence

In yourself that the pen could

Somehow

Capture the magnificence.

The unpleasant feeling is

When you don't

Dare to write down the words,

Out of worry that failure is

Inevitable and you understand

That you failed to have the courage

To overcome the worry of failure.

This is absolutely terrific! The second half of this poem really captures our true failures... We sometimes fail to write because we fear failure. In the end, we fail anyway, don't we? I have done this many times myself. I really love the way you put this into words, very cool!!
