this ache

this ache

A Poem by Periac

this ache grows

a pale crisp angel I pledge to thee

crawl forth from depressed legs and hold strong cherry lip smiles

when the day retires and a cool steed of the evening gallops to

I close my eyes for the fire that breathes

this warmth that is you

toll the bells young misfits

serene and engaged

all the while clouds create

a backdrop for the age

an angel appears now veiled midnight onyx

with giggling fortunes and awed frenzy

this one is mine

her heart a display case of sparkle

crystal jewel adorned

like a freshly fallen snow of a tranquil morning

it is this charm that I'll follow for as long as my breathe allows

we spoke of beauty

we spoke of creation

we spoke from desire

and I listened
