stained

stained

A Poem by Periac

unfold the stained glass patterned wings sweet angel

go now

each tiny breath expands the day

save this grin as rations for cold nights

skylines began courtships with tiring days retiring

yet you

bellowed wonder

un-aged and admiral

poised and dreamy

heart-aches endure saddened spirit hours

when clocks blink and cry for companionship I wonder why I'm wide-eyed and charming

when they tell the story of our love sweet jasmine

the wispy waterfall's tears will continue their course

golden dawns' will paint sudden masterpieces

they will speak

the fables etched into rocks reflect

the fairy tale created by our puzzle

words will leave breaths of bubbly ale

words will leave in a fiery torch guided by forked tongues

all that'll matter are the shoes we wore

adjourned with a unicorns hide

majestic for our path

glitter stepped and minstrel hops

the pretty parts are always remembered
