Candy SwirlA Poem by Periacwe packed lightly for the cotton candied clouds amidst honeysuckle peanut brittle skylines on chariots of prettier rainbows with blushing cheeks of strawberry smiles you spoke to me in whimpering purrs loud enough for the sugarcane to pose erect we both skipped honestly in gummy bear moon-boots weightless and frenzied like little spacemen pastel led dust exploded with our laughter and grape fun-dip hazy clouds powdered our light white sugared nose tips ha! the sun drew a friendly face laughing with us dropping gumdrops to cool the excitement my sinewy raspberry twizzler grasps pulled you closer pez teeth of cherish cat grins our breath reached together in fizzy soda pop warmth
