Candy Swirl

Candy Swirl

A Poem by Periac

we packed lightly for the cotton candied clouds

amidst honeysuckle peanut brittle skylines

on chariots of prettier rainbows

with blushing cheeks of strawberry smiles

you spoke to me in whimpering purrs loud enough for the sugarcane to pose erect

we both skipped honestly in gummy bear moon-boots

weightless and frenzied

like little spacemen

pastel led dust exploded with our laughter

and grape fun-dip hazy clouds powdered our light white sugared nose tips

ha!

the sun drew a friendly face

laughing with us

dropping gumdrops to cool the excitement

my sinewy raspberry twizzler grasps pulled you closer

pez teeth of cherish cat grins

our breath reached together in fizzy soda pop warmth

my sweet sacred cherry was mine

swinging buttercup hands

singing melodies of a catchy chipmunk band

You rock! This is great. Just wonderful. I sat here with a dorky, blushed smile reading through the thing again and again. I just love the playful nature of it. It lends this naughty, light-hearted goofiness as well. And the colors and font support the theme quite well.

Superb!

This was an adorable, colorful, tantalizing little treat. This made my sweet tooth go crazy. Very cute. :]
