miss

miss

A Poem by Periac

I miss your eyes

oh how I miss them so

a silent crystal tear escapes

it hangs for a moment along the edge of your blue window

I am reflected

Scarlett how you have taken hold of my heart

leaving me choking on words so easy to form

yet

so hard to paint

Scarlett...

under a golden veil

gleaming sapphire...

brilliant onyx...

a treasure to me

you cradle my every escaping thought

please tell me sweet princess

that this feeling is ours

tell me your the one

tell me dear

tell me you will bathe away my soiled skin

pretty me up and hold me

whisper of me to a cunning woodsman

plate me a feast of your thighs

and prepare me the soft suckle of honeydew

just tell me sweet angel of divinity

that when we lock our eyes

you see my overflowing heart that you have helped warm
