Fireworks

Fireworks

A Poem by Periac

locked

within embraces of soft waves

we paint masterpieces in colors of wet whimpers

i'm still scented of your piercing gazes

afraid to wash away the warmth we held

like store lit diamonds

sharp and sparkly

untouchable and enchanting

you melted into my caress

like silken sheets in breezy lilacs

naked as name day

we

as fireworks above

as angels

as doves
