the blessing of autumnA Poem by PeriacI welcome you my dear autumn bless you for returning to me luscious muses and brindle shades bless your maple comfort and cinnamon smiles
this frosted air coats my overacting emotions tears be-gone! please freeze for consumption later however languished
truth be told these murky days were my usual dreams yet at this time while alone I pull up your leafy blanket remolding my mud pillow careful to set the twigs aside before they puncture my solace
where once I was held above your falsetto wind adorned by sunset's pansy pastels now I serve saliva bits in troubled sleep to any that dare this (comfort) that I offer
life sure had a grand way of permitting confusion
dear autumn bless you for listening
