Apollo's BeltA Poem by Periacso where does my brow set now? must I learn to live without her sword?
does change affect courtesy?
the new book hides her cover even though I've read it before I will prepare to return it on time unless the story has changed
the defeated strain of acceptance on pillars the memoirs are etched but for me the coal is soft crumbling by lament after lament
this sewn heart shows a rip now and the mirror reflects a monster who carved this granite wink? lovely though the shavings helped me find my way back
enter soapbox I'm not oblivious to their clawing I feign simple to gain footing battle dressed in Apollo's belt when sweat is replaced by drools I'll admit nothing © 2010 Periac |
