real?

real?

A Poem by Periac
"

a new one

"

the soft brilliance of her typed open heart

it stood open for me in a rare eclipse

how was she frowning with such piercing eyes?

blame the weather

dear scholar

I think not

harmless breathing was shared within an electronic yard

of pliable walls

of echoed halls

until of course

we awoke

I like it, I likeit a lot, short and real,
But hay, what do I know?
Well done.

I loved the ending of this, and the fluid imagery that grabs your attention. It makes me think that sometimes as writers we get carried away in the images, and don't allow ourselves to 'wake up' occaisionally and feel less serious about everything.
