glitter dawn

glitter dawn

A Poem by Periac

under a brumous downpour of diamond cloud shavings
dropped jewels of weightless sparkle

so pretty this glittering view
skin shimmers splendour

heavy my eyes drift over countless crossfire
a lulled pose

brisk morning
I'm parched
brimmed with cracking angst
holier than foul

messiah morning draped by dawn's sponge yellowed skyline
pressed boldly herein

I agree with the chalky terrain
Sinless

such foward steps begin in arupt stutters
a new day awaits

beloved by frozen nymphs
that valiantly speckle my nose...

gorgeous wordplay...
the opening line catches my imagination right away and brought to mind the jabberwocky poem in alice in wonderland, both in the language and in the surreality

i am pretty sure i reviewed this BEFORE they redid the site but that seems to have disappeared :^ lol

LOVE the last verse, and I adore the way your present. How I would love to hear you speak some of your writing. I bet it is something to behold.
One thing that really stands out for me with your writing is the more unusual way of arranging words. It's almost like you talk backwards sometimes, and I do the same thing so it catches my attention. Also, your words choices are not standard, and that makes you unique and special. :) Love it Periac!
