A Poem by Periac
"

song about an angel

"

you...burrowed angelic

chiseled in pixie pose

pure

with sparkler eyes

veiled by a love red tint

however pale

in a lily-white masquerade

our softly spoken dance of whispers

over bubbling golden amber ales

that night I shivered in a pleasurable frost

fallen from the cool winds of your passing

mute

Ooooh, I likey!!! You know what this reminded me of? A medieval ball, masked. I can totally picture it. And...there is something else about it that I cannot quite grasp just yet. But it grabs me, that's for sure. I like it. :)

intense. your use of words like frost, veil and chiseled set our poem in a chilled atmosphere.
