wall

wall

A Poem by Periac
"

from my head yo

"

oh dear

oh my

are we born breathless on friday's charm?

within a mist of velvet jasmine smoke

i inhale its pretty beauty

while looking for the muse of a wall

my dear child of imagined candy

i wonder if your slim and tone as my eyes prefer

home is where the w***e is

(they say)

come down to the festive glass raising

we'll watch flames lick from the brow

we'll stare to the wall in harmony's subtle silence

i reach for your shadow

it cloaks my wrist in a cool wake of your leaving

are we born breathless on friday's charm?

again another write that speaks of inherent sadness and loss.. you couch these feelings in breezy words that so very easily could be seen as something light..

i reach for your shadow

it cloaks my wrist in a cool wake of your leaving

that caught my breath..

Very beautiful writing. I can sense what you are writing about. A pleasure to read.
