lullaby

lullaby

A Poem by Periac
"

for a baby i don't have

"
dear precious morning thanks spring rain for coming
its now your time to be cold and insane
oh twinkle twinkle held the child's eyes to the stars
creep alittle when he prepares to dream

but please cold deep dyed wind
don't make him cry

holy bright dawn peaks on through the window
open his eyes pease skim golden sun rays
did you account for all the angels that have kept you warm?

he calls for me in purity
we've acknowledged an angels wings
skin wiped in innocent oil

a smile frail instead

Ohhh, what breath taking pain and love, for something unreachable. You express so well Periac. :)

Heartbreaking and beautiful. The first stanza is very witty and a lovely play on words...

Thank you for sharing...
