A Poem by Periac
"

i would like you all to know i appreciate your reviews....i try not to place what the poem is about for i believe the words should interpret themselves as you interpret them....some of my work i have found can have different meaning to different people

"

here now came us
drenched in our favorite
styles that would claim us
in silence to shame us
then burrowing in landslides
i'm up to my ears
i
pray for some lulluby
to cry for me on
through the night
with dreams you wouldn't care about
and friends to whom you speak aloud
(so here now claim us)
drenched in our favorite
bullshit sewn melody
Autumns view looked so good on you
so good on me
covered in leaves we've left the cave
your words ring true i couldn't believe
"tundras and deserts are all the same"
said the snake in my path slithering in pain

now there you stood as you begged for me
to clean the air
to leave in pieces me scattered about
and all the times we laughed aloud
to brilliant surfaces of war
and computer images behind the door

Wow Periac, I know not what to say. Hum...this speaks to me, yet I know not how at the moment. You write so much like my head thinks, that it's easy for me to make my own interpretation on this, and I think that's a wonderful way to write. I do the same most times.
Great write!
