night kiss

night kiss

A Poem by Periac

dew drops and cunning moves
sun drys warmly
hopping to and fro
with chirps of stars and old tears of memory
my old ashes have stained her frosted palms

within the moons untimed breeding
the sun's blue held a seat in conversation

the oak bark cursed its diseased roots
we trampled rusty leaves in efforts to bond
should we?
again?

more of my pain falls upon this worn paper

pretty....tender....swam these words dressed in silent alignment
here i give you these soaked reasons of burrowed emptyness

kiss me again like the night of crystal rain
bright gaze reflected from mirror eyes
you once had two arms
they cradled me with hungry comfort

yep

and i once spoke for that smile
