CaveMan

CaveMan

A Poem by Periac
"

I poem about a child's imagination

"

into this dream i wish patience to breath
carry me on your shoulder dear queen

unsafe i have walked through
crimson rose tides
carrying lightning strain as the sun say's
"hi"

and the thorns they stuck in my eyes
and the thorns they stuck in my sides

it is time to return
to what was yesterday

will you come see the minstril strum today?

now when the children cry
smiling for balloons
and watch them simply fly away

hold your heart out for laughter
as it becomes part of you

were all children sometimes

That is so true - I remember setting off balloons once, with a message on them. Really like the feeling the poem gives. :)
